I just took a photo of the back of an old photo (so it was blank), photoshopped it so each border was a little different, and drew in the shadow. Then I took the photos messed with the contrast to make them look old, converted them to B/W with the channel mixer, tinted them slightly brown and put them over the photo frame using a "Multiple" blend mode so the darks show up and the lights go transparent. Thats it, I only used photoshop, no 3D here.

Very cool!! How did you add the vintage effect, including the frames and the 3D?

Don't do it Mike!! Don't reveal your secrets!!

Why not Jason?
It's nice to know others secrets - that way you learn more / try more things, especially if you give away your own too ;0)
- Anyway this type of drop shadow can be made by Apple's iWeb application (when you pull in a picture, you can apply different boarders and shadows.
Though I think this was done in Photoshop. I'm I right Mike?

Neat! Now the real question is how did you get a chance to fly on one one of these things? Cheers!
