TED Conference Invite

I have been invited to the TED Conference coming up on February 23rd. What is the TED Conference? It was described to me as "summer camp for your brain", and after looking at the website for a bit I am really really excited. Apparently it is four days of intense sessions taught by some of the smartest people in the world including Bono from U2, Brain Greene author of The Elegant Universe, Craig Venter genomics pioneer, James Watson author of The Double Helix, and Scott McCloud author of Understanding Comics. And if that were not enough, I hear the people that are going to be attending are just as incredible. Delicious Monster has agreed to put a license of Delicious Library into every gift bag given to everyone attending so I have been working with Jeff Ronney to create some really awesome packaging for the license (I might post the final version here when it is done). This thing is going to be very fun, I can't wait to go.

So jealous. Never heard of this before but the program looks fantastic. You'll have to let us know if it's worth the four grand plus. :)

I was lucky enough to get a free pass. I would have happily paid though.
I am very jealous. I did not know about TED, but it looks like a great gathering. Please, keep us posted.

Damn, you just ruined my month, after reading this I frantically tried to get a ticket and flight (from South Africa), sadly, according to the TED team the last seats sold out on Jan 31st - Shit!
Enjoy anyway, but not too much, that would just depress me more...!

I have followed the TED for a bunch of years now...wish i could go, but it is invite only...and i don't see a free pass in my future. Can't imaging being in the same place with all those minds! Am thinking about going to the new connference that the guy who started TED, Richard Saul Wurman, is doing. The entertainment gathering, eg2006.com...from everything i have read and heard the guy is pretty amazing. Has anyone gone to the TED when he was doing it?
