Delicious Monster on the News

The local NBC station here in Seattle - KING 5 - visited Delicious Monster HQ (aka Zoka) on Monday to shoot some footage for a story that aired during the 10 o'clock news.
They filmed us working at Zoka and did a little interview with Wil and I. The final 90-second story turned out great. If you want to check it out I grabbed it off my TiVo and posted it below.

Positive PR is always a good thing, so congrats on the mention in the news.
On a sidenote, I think the dialogue between Wil and you seems somewhat constructed? ;)

For the previous Anonymous, you could open QuickTime and then open the file (http://www.mikematas.com/blog/images/king5_small.mp4) directly from within QuickTime.
Furthermore if you're using Firefox on a Windows PC, I too sometimes have problems with QuickTime files not playing even though I have QuickTime installed. See the following for more info: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=206210
It helped a little but not in this particular case.

Also, when you zoom in on your computer and it says "Printed in: Canada," what is up with that? Is that a new feature in an upcoming version?
AND another thing: Why is that reporter woman standing outside in the night, on what looks like on the top of a building, to do this story?
I am curious, what did you use to get the video off of Tivo? Great to see you guys making the news.
Maybe printed in Canada is for v 1.5?
The show of Wil and I at the very beginning was very staged. We were just talking about nothing joking around because the camera man said they would not have audio for that shot. I guess they did.
Mike the voiceover says that you and Will were fired from Omni is that true - I was never quite sure what happened

Interesting you guys chose to disclose financial information like that regarding the first day in sales - but was also interesting at the same time. I'd always wondered how well it did. 56K on the first day is quite impressive.

My main question...How did you get the vid off Tivo? Through iMovie or such using a digital video cam or do you have something we dont?? Please tell. With TivoToGo out now for the PeeCees I know there have been hacks to convert but I havent seen anything for Mac yet.

Wil, glad to see you got a spot on the local news! The shot of you walking down Blakely past the Omni entrance was too funny.
So the question I have, after seeing a half dozen or so of you crammed around a rather small table, when you aren't hashing out ideas as a group, how the heck to you get in the zone long enough to get any work done without being distracted by your coworkers? Move to another table? Crank up iTunes with some noise cancelling headhpones? Reminds me of trying to work at McCaw Cellular crammed into a tiny cubicle with two other developers!
Keep up the good work with DM, can't wait to get my massive book collection out of storage and scan all the tomes in when they move into my new library when my basement is finished ina few months! :)
I got the video off my TiVo by plugging in my Canon GL2 digital camcorder into my computer and streaming the video onto my hard drive using Final Cut Pro.
