After over 7 long hard months of development Wil Shipley and I have finally released Delicious Library. We did not finish working on it until Monday morning at 4:30, the day we promised everyone we would release on. We got kicked out of Zoka (coffee shop where we work) at midnight and then moved to QFC (a grocery store with 24 wireless internet) where we worked till 6:00AM. I went home and stayed up making sure everything was going smoothly till 11:00AM when I finally passed out. Needless to say my schedule is now a little fucked up, but it feels great to have it out.
Our website hits, application downloads, sales, and the response have all been out of this word. Far above what we ever could have hoped for. We are now going to be taking a few weeks to fix bugs, answer customer e-mails, and promote the application. I am also now getting really excited about our next project (can't say what it is) and am looking forward to starting development on it.

yeah, dude, congrats, it is amazoing. Nice work, to both of you, from what I have been reading people want more international support, but I am from the US, so I am sitting pretty (ignorance alert). It is really out of this world. I am really looking forward to the next version.

Good Job. All I can say is don't forget that Library users (like me) still expect updates and bug fixes- as well as new features. When you price your app at $40 (it's a fair price, I am not bitching) people expect a certain level of support and maintenance, and I hope you guys live up to the quality of your app by keeping your customers happy.

Let me second the motion about continuing support and feature enhancements in the future. While Delicious Library is a fantastic application, I think that there are many little interface tweaks that would make it ever more useful. (I’ll compile them all and send an email when I get a chance.) For example, having an iTunes-like text search field in the upper-right corner would be a tremendous asset to finding a particular DVD quickly. Hopefully changes like that can be made in a timely fashion, and the word-of-mouth will keep spreading! Thanks again!
